Pan Am Globe

Pan Am Globe

Brickell Group Construction played a pivotal role in this unconventional project, which involved relocating the historic Pan Am globe from its former home at Frost Science Museum in Coconut Grove to a temporary location for full restoration before being transported to its new permanent location at Miami Worldcenter. As the general contractor for this unique endeavor, Brickell Group Construction managed the intricate process of carefully removing the 6,500-pound globe from the Frost Science Museum, constructing a custom support base ensuring its safe transport. While an artist oversaw the meticulous restoration process, our team facilitated the construction required for its final destination and display at Miami Worldcenter.

Through our expertise and dedication, Brickell Group Construction has contributed to preserving history and shaping the evolving landscape of our beloved city. The Pan Am globe now stands as a testament to our commitment to tackling challenging projects and embracing unconventional construction methods, honoring Miami’s rich aviation history for generations to come.
